In 2005 Anita presented us with her theoretical framework. This year Anita is giving Practitioners an opportunity to explore the practical applications of her work.

Workshop Facilitator: Dr Anita Johnston, Clinical Psychologist
Dr Anita Johnston is the Director and Co-founder of the Anorexia and Bulimia Centre of Hawaii and is the Clinical Director and Co-founder of the ‘Ai Pono Intensive Out-Patient Eating Disorders Programs in Honolulu and Maui.

Dr Johnston is an expert in treating a wide range of eating disorders from anorexia and bulimia to compulsive/binge eating and eating disorders associated with severe obesity and bariatric surgery.

She is the author of Eating in the Light of the Moon: How women can transform their relationships with food through myth, metaphor & storytelling , which has been published in five languages.

Dr Johnston has a private practice specialising in women's issues and disordered eating and is a recognised international workshop presenter, lecturing widely to professional organisations, universities, medical institutions, and the community at large.

Located in the heart of St Leonards, the conference centre is a two minute walk to St Leonards train station and a short stroll to buses and taxis on the Pacific Highway. Three Wilson Parking Stations are conveniently located nearby.
