Concerned family and friends

Are you concerned about a loved one or friend with a mental health problem? Because at South Pacific Private we recognise that dealing with someone who has a mental health problem can greatly impact your life.

We understand the pain of watching someone you love struggle with a mental health disorder. We know the fear and anguish that comes from living with a loved one who is not ready to seek help. You are equally important to us and we are here to offer you our support.

Our programs and workshops for family members and friends of people with a mental health issue include:

Frameworks for Change - designed to provide coping strategies and support to family members of a person who is not yet ready to deal with their own addiction.
Family Week - part of our Primary Program, this gives you a chance to take part in your loved ones recovery process. Your loved one may invite you here to explore family dynamics in a caring, non-judgemental environment. This week is not about assigning blame but about healing and nourishing family communications for the future.
Foundations in Recovery Conferences - Held annually, each Conference is an opportunity for you to gain further insight in how to understand your family member/friend and into how you may support yourself.

To find out more about the any of the above why not call our Client Liaison team on
1800 063 332 or fill out a confidential enquiry form.

This way you will have the opportunity to talk in person with one of our psychologists about your needs for yourself and your concerns for a loved one. This is a private meeting with no obligations or fees to help you make some informed decisions, please click here to find out more.
