Nursing

Nurses – Registered Nurses – Full-time or Part-time

About the role

Are you tired of laborious heavy nursing? Want a break from the wards? Do you have an interest in human behaviour? If so, apply for a permanent part/full-time role at South Pacific Private Hospital. You can utilise your acute nursing skills with our detoxing clients and develop skills in mental health nursing along the way. It’s a great opportunity to learn about yourself as well as your clients. 

No experience in mental health or addiction required. New graduates welcome to apply. 

As a compassionate and professional nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care in a mental health setting. You will work within a supportive and experience team with a healthy work culture. 

With the ability to work both in a team and in a multi-disciplinary environment, you will display a positive commitment and professional accountability in relation to the needs of the organisation and its clients, be passionate about supporting and restoring health and wellbeing.

Essential criteria

  • Enthusiastic, dynamic and compassionate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current AHPRA Registration 
  • NSW National Police Check
  • CPR certificate
