Anxiety is our body’s natural response to stress. However, anxiety can occur suddenly with no apparent explanation or trigger. We may experience a wave of negative emotions – including dread, worry, panic, nervousness and fear – all of which can make us feel overwhelmed.

There are different forms of diagnosable, treatable anxiety disorders, ranging from Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder (commonly referred to as panic attacks) to forms of anxiety which are triggered by substances, including alcohol and marijuana.
